I am never happier than when I am immersed in nature

From a young age I knew I wanted to work with animals. This passion lead me to pursue a career in veterinary science, where I have specialised in wildlife health. More recently, I complimented my veterinary skillset with a PhD in ecology. So it’s fair to say, I really love animals (and studying apparently).

Outside of work, one of my greatest enjoyments is wildlife photography. In fact, I’ll pretty much spend any spare moment I get in the bush with a camera in my hands. I am constantly amazed by the wonder and beauty of our planet, and my biggest wish is to inspire people to connect with the world around them
